EL FUEGO

Other then earthquakes and tsunamis, WILDFIRES is another inevitable part of California living. This so called "Freeway Complex Fire" has been the closest thing to an actual fire we've experienced ever and it has been scary. Seriously. Below is a fire map of the current situation here in Orange County (Yorba Linda area) as of 5:30pm... Damn.

FLIPPED COIN

Only after a day upon its release, we've been gettin' unbelievable props for the OBAMA CHANGE TEE. We've heard really good feedback so far from our customers but I've noticed that we haven't really explained the idea behind the shirt itself.

The design features the man himself, Barack Obama, etched on a coin, which epitomizes the prestige and hope of becoming the next president. To us its like prematurely crowning him as winner. The word change, in big bold letters, represents what he actually brings to the table - hope for this country, and also acts as a subliminal symbolism for the coin idea. The phrase "In Barrack We Trust", as you may have noticed, was mispelled - instead of "Barack" - this was done intentionally to avoid any possible legal implications, since we are not officially sponsored by the Obama campaign.

OBAMA CHANGE TEE

After all the recent negative things that has happened in this country - bank failures, significant stock market drop and a rising unemployment rate, I guess everyone can agree that CHANGE is an inevitable need . U.L.A.M believes that BARACK OBAMA is the answer and with that said, we present you the OBAMA CHANGE TEE... Now available in limited quantity; Email us for all orders -

Fall '08 Line

LOGO TEE
The logo tee perfectly describes the brand's true identity - simple and fresh. It also spells out the brand’s meaning... Undoing Lies And Mistakes.

GORILLA TEE
This design transforms into character the true meaning of U.L.A.M which is turning a negative into something positive. A grouchy, wild gorilla is mirrored by his lively party animal alter ego.

UNION TEE
The first of our heritage tees, the artwork is based on a famous filipino painting known as “Bayanihan” by Botong Francisco. Back in the old days in the Philippines, relocating literally means moving one’s house with the help of the local neighborhood.

ROBOT TEE
The robot tee illustrates our own take of the 1945 Hiroshima bombing. In a historical perspective, the destruction of Japan signaled the end of WWII, and this was artistically interpreted through U.L.A.M’s perspective by a robot wrecking a city in a cartoonish, poster-like design.

About Us

U.L.A.M. is an independent clothing company, based in Orange County, CA. It is a brand that incorporates our trademark lifestyle, inspirations and life’s outlook into an apparel line that can be appreciated by all. We adapt to any way, shape or form to a subculture that is ever changing, and at the same time integrate our ideas and designs in order to create our own unique taste.

U.L.A.M is all about turning a negative into a positive. To undo one’s own lies and mistakes is to realize one’s own fault. This brand is our own way of seeing things in perspective and rectifying the errors, which are reflected through the overall visual aesthetics, attention to detail and color choice in our works.

Besides, U.L.A.M is simply… ulam. For those who can relate, it is what it is.
